Dashboard & events
Endpoints (dashboard)
Endpoints is your main board:
- Green / OK means the latest streak is success.
- Red / problem means the latest streak is failure.
- One log row = one status streak (continuous success or continuous failure), not one row per single check.
- While status stays the same, Uptime10 updates the current streak instead of adding endless rows.
Useful actions on an endpoint:
- Active switch (Actions column) — pause monitoring without deleting.
- Test / Reset logs / Delete — on the endpoint edit page; use carefully; delete removes the monitor.
Events
Events shows history when status changes (for example OK → down, or down → OK). Use it to answer “when did this break?” and “when did it recover?”
For URL (poll) monitors, a short failed check does not open a Down event immediately — the failure must continue for about 90 seconds first. That keeps brief network flaps out of Events and alerts.
Profile & Settings
- Profile — your account details.
- Settings — Appearance (Auto follows your device light/dark setting, or choose Light/Dark), API key, public status link (with QR code to open on a phone), and optional alerts when one of your monitors goes down or recovers: separate switches for Email and Browser push. Use Send test alert to verify the channels you turned on.
- On the public status link (typical on phones), use Install app and/or Enable alerts — no login needed.
- For the logged-in dashboard, use Settings → Browser push / Install monitoring app. Admins can turn Email and Push on/off per user under Manage Users.
Install as an app
Open Install App while logged in to add Uptime10 (or a public status URL) to your device home screen when the browser offers it.
